My little sister (she's 28) went to the doctor today to see about getting her tubes tied. She has 2 children already (10 and 5) and she and her husband A)Don't want any more children and B)Know that they can't afford any more children. The solution seems simple enough to her. She has insurance through her employer that would pay for a tubal. After she and her hubby talked it over and decided to go forward, the DOCTOR turned her down for the surgery. She says that she is "too young" to have her tubes tied. What in the holy hell????
